The firm was founded in 1985 by partners Terrell N. Roberts III, and Douglas J. Wood. They were joined by partner Christopher A. Griffiths in 1990. All three attorneys are skilled litigators who possess extensive trial experience.

Terry Roberts handles civil cases for the firm. Mr. Roberts has developed a specialty in police misconduct cases, and is a regional authority in cases involving police brutality and false arrest.
